Perjury<br />

Perjury is the voluntary violation of an oath<br />

or vow either by swearing an untruth or by omission<br />

to do what has been promised under oath.<br />

Bugbear: Criminals worth 1,000 s.p. or less<br />

have their tongues cut out so they can no longer<br />

commit perjury. Criminals worth more than 1,000<br />

s.p. must pay 100 s.p. per point of severity of the<br />

crime for which the perjurer is in court.<br />

Dwarf, Black: The criminal is struck on<br />

their braced tongue with a footman’s warhammer.<br />

Dwarf, White: The criminal is banished.<br />

Elf, Dark: Younger criminals are forbidden<br />

sexual relations for 1d10 years, while older criminals<br />

are beaten to death by their immediate family.<br />

Elf, Light: Younger criminals are forbidden<br />

from playing pranks and making music for 1d10<br />

years, while older criminals are starved to death.<br />

Human: The criminal is fined 1d100 s.p.<br />

Kobold: The criminal is killed, if a slave.<br />

Otherwise, the criminal becomes a slave for life if a<br />

peasant, for 1d10 years if a serf, 1d6 years if nobility,<br />

and 1d4 years if royalty.<br />

Troll, Subterranean: The criminal is beaten<br />

to death by their best friend.<br />

Pimping<br />

Pimping is the act of pandering or offering<br />

a whore to others. The pimp cohabits with the<br />

whore and lives off her earnings, and often solicits<br />

for her.<br />

Bugbear: Although bugbears have no legal<br />

issues with whores, it is illegal for a husband to pimp<br />

his wife. If a husband pimps his wife, then he is<br />

publicly chastised.<br />

Dwarf, White: The criminal is banished.<br />

by illegal methods.<br />

for 1d10 years, while older criminals are beaten to<br />

death by their immediate family.<br />
