Brawling<br />

A successful Brawling attack damages a susceptible<br />

foe. Brawling attacks vary by race, and may<br />

include claws. Anything else (such as including chairs,<br />

pots or pans, etc.) constitutes the use of a Weapon<br />

skill.<br />

The number of Brawling attacks per round<br />

are determined by consulting the Agility sub-ability<br />

table in Chapter 3: Abilities. For each 10 SP invested<br />

in Brawling or bonus SP from race or occupation,<br />

an extra attack per round is gained.<br />

Since a brawler is not using a weapon,<br />

Weapon Size and Delivery Penalty do not affect initiative<br />

(see Chap. 10: Combat). However, Breadth (see<br />

Chap. 2: Body) is still added to initiative.<br />

Check: First, roll 1d100, modify the result<br />

with the modifier for the sub-ability of Agility and<br />

any invested SP, and consult the appropriate Brawling<br />

table by race to determine which body part is<br />

attacked.<br />

Roll 3d10 and apply the modifier for the subability<br />

of Agility. The base TH is the foe’s CAB<br />

(Current Armor against Brawling) for the specified<br />

body part. If the result of this modified roll exceeds<br />

the Current Armor of the target creature, then<br />

the Brawling attack was successful.<br />

If the target creature or object has been<br />

struck successfully, determine the damage done.<br />

Brawling damage is listed regarding LP on each race’s<br />

table. To determine the damage to BPP, multiply<br />

the result by 0.3, unless an asterisk is listed. If<br />

Graphic Gore occurs (see Chap. 10: Combat), then<br />

double the damage determined, and consult the most<br />

appropriate location under Graphic Gore for special<br />

effects.<br />

* Subdual damage only, it heals by itself in<br />

1d10 minutes.<br />

** BPP damage equals LP damage.<br />
