For each tooth pulled, the barber acquires<br />

Guild: Barbers’ Guild. Each apprentice<br />

must serve 5 years. Once an apprentice for 5 years,<br />

they may apply for employment as a journeyman<br />

with their guild.<br />

For a journeyman to become a master, they<br />

must be able financially to open their own shop,<br />

and receive the approval of the guild. To receive<br />

approval, they must pass a Persuasion skill check.<br />

The TH begins at 30 and is decreased by 1 for every<br />

period of 6 months in which the journeyman has<br />

worked locally with the guild. The Aedile may overrule<br />

this skill check or apply any modifier deemed<br />

appropriate.<br />

Wandering minstrels seek out adventure so<br />

that they may be inspired to craft wondrous ballads<br />

and other musical or poetic works. Fame is very<br />

important to bards. Daily wages are typically 5 s.p.<br />

Hand-Eye Coordination 105, Enunciation 105, Language<br />

105, Math 90, and Analytic 90.<br />

Gender: Female bards are uncommon.<br />

Race: Any but ogre.<br />

Disposition: Bards of all dispositions are<br />

possible, though most are not immoral.<br />

Temperament: Bards tend to be melancholic.<br />

Sociality: Serf or noble.<br />

Religion: Any.<br />

Skills: Acting Drama + 3, Buffoonery (comedy)<br />

+ 3, Comedy (Pun) + 3, Dance + 3, History<br />

Legends + 3, History Local + 3, Music (Counterpoint)<br />

+ 3, Music Theory + 3, Music Instrument +<br />

3, Persuasion + 3, and Storytelling + 3.<br />

Equipment: If unable to afford a musical<br />

instrument, then it is assumed that the bard focuses<br />

on singing as their musical instrument. Most bards<br />
