§ A1102 BROOME COUNTY ADMINISTRATIVE CODE § A1201<br />

(3) Have charge and supervision and control of the operation, maintenance and use of the<br />

<strong>Broome</strong> <strong>County</strong> Veterans Memorial Arena and the <strong>Broome</strong> <strong>County</strong> Performing Arts<br />

Theater (The Forum).<br />

(4) Perform such additional and related duties as the <strong>County</strong> Executive may prescribe or as<br />

may be prescribed by local law, ordinance or resolution of the <strong>County</strong> Legislature.<br />

§ A1103. Reports.<br />

On or before March 1 in each year, the Commissioner of Parks and Recreation shall make an<br />

annual report for the immediately preceding calendar year, covering generally the work of his<br />

Department. The Commissioner shall make such other reports at such times as may be<br />

required by the <strong>County</strong> Legislature, <strong>County</strong> Executive or any other applicable law. Copies of<br />

all reports shall be filed with the Clerk of the <strong>County</strong> Legislature and the <strong>County</strong> Executive.<br />

§ A1104. Rules and regulations.<br />

The <strong>County</strong> Legislature shall have the power by resolution, local law or ordinance to establish<br />

such rules, regulations and charges relating to the Department of Parks and Recreation as it<br />

may deem necessary. 15 Any such rules, regulations or charges so established shall become<br />

valid upon being filed with the <strong>County</strong> Executive, the Commissioner of Parks and Recreation<br />

and the Department of Records.<br />

§ A1105. Deputies. [Amended 3-31-1987 by L.L. No. 2-1987]<br />

The Commissioner of Parks and Recreation shall appoint such Deputies as shall be authorized<br />

by the <strong>County</strong> Legislature. All Deputy Commissioners shall serve at the pleasure of the<br />

Commissioner of Parks of Recreation and shall have the authority to act generally for and in<br />

place of said Commissioner.<br />

A<strong>RT</strong>ICLE XII<br />

Board of Acquisition and Contract<br />

§ A1201. Board created; organization and procedures.<br />

There shall be a Board of Acquisition and Contract which shall consist of the <strong>County</strong><br />

Executive, the Commissioner of Public Works and the Chairman of the <strong>County</strong> Legislature or<br />

their designees. The Board of Acquisition and Contract shall have all the powers and duties in<br />

relation to the acquisition of real property and the approval and execution of contracts as are<br />

set forth in §§ A1202, A1203, A1204, A1205 and A1206 of this Article.<br />

The Board of Acquisition and Contract shall meet at the call of the <strong>County</strong> Executive, who<br />

shall serve as Chairman of such Board. All meetings of the Board of Acquisition and Contract<br />
