§ 185-1. Requests from villages.
ARTICLE I
Collection of Delinquent Village Taxes
[Adopted 8-5-1975 byL.L. No. 5-1975]
Notwithstanding any general, special or local law to the contrary, upon receipt of a village
ordinance, local law or resolution of a village within Broome County requesting the County of
Broome to collect delinquent village taxes subsequent to the effective date of this article and
upon certification of correctness of such unpaid taxes by the village authorities, the
Commissioner of Finance of Broome County may collect such village taxes, provided that
