§ C105 BROOME COUNTY CHA<strong>RT</strong>ER AND CODE § C201<br />

QUORUM — A majority of the whole number of members of the <strong>County</strong> Legislature and a<br />

majority of the whole number of the membership of the commission, body or other group of<br />

persons or offices charged with any <strong>County</strong> public power, authority or duty to be performed<br />

or exercised by them jointly, and not less than a majority as required herein may perform and<br />

exercise such power, authority or duty.<br />

§ C200. Termination of Board of Supervisors as now constituted.<br />

The terms of Supervisors heretofore elected to the <strong>Broome</strong> <strong>County</strong> Board of Supervisors and<br />

those elected at the general election of 1968 shall terminate on December 31, 1970.<br />

§ C201. <strong>County</strong> Legislature; members; qualifications.<br />

1. Upon adoption of this Charter, the elective legislative body of <strong>Broome</strong> <strong>County</strong> shall be<br />

the <strong>County</strong> Legislature of the <strong>County</strong> of <strong>Broome</strong>.<br />

2. The <strong>County</strong> of <strong>Broome</strong> shall be divided into districts to be known as "Legislative<br />

Districts," from each of which shall be elected one (1) person to be a member of the<br />

<strong>County</strong> Legislature. Such persons while holding office shall be known as "Legislators."<br />

3. The <strong>County</strong> of <strong>Broome</strong> shall be divided into Legislative Districts, bounded and described<br />
