facilities except as the same may be provided under the terms and conditions of a
duly executed airline-airport use and lease agreement for Binghamton Regional
Airport, Edwin A. Link Field.
§ 84-3. Fees applicable to general aviation. [Amended 2-18-1999 by L.L. No. 5-1999 5 ]
The Commissioner of Aviation of the County of Broome or his duly authorized representative
is hereby authorized to assess and collect the following fees with respect to general/corporate
aviation.
A. Landing fees. [Amended 12-21-2006 by L.L. No. 2-2007]
(1) No landing fee shall be assessed or collected with respect to any single-engine
piston aircraft.
(2) A landing fee of $15 shall be assessed and collected with respect to any
twin-engine piston aircraft.
(3) A landing fee of $18 shall be assessed and collected with respect to any
single-engine turbine aircraft.
(4) A landing fee of $25 shall be assessed and collected with respect to any
twin-engine turbine aircraft.
(5) A landing fee of $30 shall be assessed and collected with respect to any jet aircraft
with a gross landing weight of less than 15,500 pounds.
(6) A landing fee of $40 shall be assessed and collected with respect to any jet aircraft
with a gross landing weight of 15,501 pounds or more but less than 25,000
pounds.
(7) A landing fee of $1.90 per 1,000 pounds shall be assessed and collected with
respect to any jet aircraft with a gross landing weight greater than 25,000 pounds.
(8) No landing fee shall be assessed or collected with respect to the following aircraft:
Airport.

(e)
All aircraft that at the time of landing are based at the Greater Binghamton
Airport.
All aircraft landing for purposes of receiving maintenance services at the
Greater Binghamton Airport.
Aircraft landing for emergency purposes.
Life flights/medical evacuations.
Military/FAA aircraft.
