(3) No person shall sell or offer for sale any article, thing, privilege or service without<br />

a permit from the Commissioner. Once permitted, such sale or offer of any article,<br />

thing, privilege or service must also be in accordance with New York State<br />

statutes.<br />

K. Compliance with orders of Commissioner.<br />

(1) No person shall fail or refuse to comply with any reasonable order relating to the<br />

regulation, direction or control of traffic or to any order lawfully given by the<br />

Commissioner or willfully resist, obstruct or abuse any police officer or official in<br />

the execution of his office.<br />

(2) The Commissioner may set such regulations from time to time which will help in<br />

promoting the health, safety and general welfare of persons and the orderly<br />

administration of the park pursuant to the policies established by the <strong>County</strong><br />

Legislature.<br />

L. Camps and camping.<br />

(1) No person shall establish or maintain any camp or other temporary lodging or<br />

sleeping place within the park without a written permit from the Commissioner.<br />

M. Fires.<br />

(1) No person shall start a fire in the park, except small fires for culinary purposes in<br />

park grills or privately owned grills or fires in the designated areas approved by<br />

the Commissioner. The Commissioner may, at his discretion, prohibit fires at any<br />

location or for any purpose when necessary for the protection of park property.<br />

(2) No person starting or using fires shall leave the immediate vicinity of the fires<br />

before they are extinguished. The dumping of hot ashes or fire from portable<br />

picnic grills is permitted only in designated receptacles.<br />

N. Trespass. [Amended 5-9-1989 by L.L. No. 6-1989]<br />

(1) No person shall be permitted to enter within the confines of the park, leisure<br />

facility or other public reservations of the Department after closing hours or before<br />

opening hours, as set and established from time to time by the Commissioner.<br />

(2) No person lawfully banned from the parks or leisure facility by the Commissioner<br />

shall enter or remain within the confines of the park or leisure facility or other<br />

public reservations of the Department.<br />

O. Hunting; fishing.<br />

(1) No person within the confines of the park shall hunt, pursue with dogs, trap or in<br />

any other way molest any wild bird or animal found within the confines of the<br />

park. Hunting may be authorized by the Commissioner in certain areas, but all<br />

such activity is prohibited in areas when posted signs specifically prohibit such<br />

activity.<br />
