Chapter 6 How to Use Keypad<br />

1) Parameter mode<br />

Mode Display Description<br />

Has functions necessary for operation including<br />

<strong>Drive</strong> group DRV frequency/acceleration/deceleration time setting and operation<br />

command selection, etc.<br />

Basic group BAS<br />

Can set the basic functions such as the motor parameter and sequential<br />

frequency, etc.<br />

Advanced function group ADV<br />

Can set the acceleration/deceleration pattern and frequency control<br />

function, etc.<br />

Control function group CON Can set functions related to sensorless and vector control.<br />

Input terminal function<br />

Can set functions related to the inverter input terminal block including<br />

multi-function digital input and analog input.<br />

Output terminal function<br />

group<br />

Communication function<br />

group<br />

OUT<br />

COM<br />

Can set the inverter output terminal block functions such as the relay<br />

and analog output.<br />

Sets the functions related to built-in 485 communication and<br />

communication option card in such a case.<br />

Application function group APP Sets functions such as PID control and auto sequence operation.<br />

Auto Sequence run group AUT<br />

Application option group APO<br />

This group is displayed if Auto Sequence Group in APP is selected and<br />

sets the functions necessary for auto sequence operation.<br />

Sets functions related to the encoder option and PLC option card, if<br />

they are used.<br />

Protection group PRT Can set functions for protecting the motor and inverter.<br />

Motor 2 function group<br />

(Motor 2)<br />

This group is displayed if you select Motor #2 among the multi-function<br />

input terminal functions and sets functions related to Motor #2.<br />

2) <strong>User</strong>& Macro mode<br />

Group Display Description<br />

Of the function items of each group of the parameter mode, the items<br />

<strong>User</strong> group USR<br />

that need to be monitored or that are frequently set by the user are<br />

grouped and displayed. It is registered by using the multi-function key<br />

of the keypad.<br />

The functions necessary for the inverter according to the load type can<br />

be grouped and selected at the time of delivery from the factory. If the<br />

Macro group MCx user selects a desired operation type, the groups displayed in MC1 or<br />

MC2 are shown. You can select them in CNF Mode. For more details,<br />

see 8-48 page, 8.1.31 Addition to Macro group.<br />
