106/316 Bosch Rexroth AG | Tightening Technology 7 Data Services7.2 Ethernet communication7.2.5.1 Data quantity and expected transfer time for tightening results filesThe data quantity per results file is calculated as follows:Table 7–13: Results file data quantityFormat Components Data quantityin bytesStandard Start character + channel-specific information 136Plus 3109 docu steps + 1 results step *Calculation: (9 + 1) * (57 + (58 * 10))6,370End character 1Sum: 6,507Standard 350 As with Standard Plus 310 6,507Additionally for each step **1,551Calculation: (9 + 1) * (43 + 106) + 61Sum: 8,587* Each step consists of a permanent section with 57 bytes + up to 10 monitoring functions, each with 58 bytes.** Each step consists of a permanent section with 43 bytes + up to 2 target functions, eachwith 53 bytes, + an additional section for the results step with 61 bytes.NoteThe data quantities in the table represent the bytes that have actually been used. The file actually occupiesat least one complete cluster, even if the file is much smaller than the cluster. For the 128 MB CF350storage module (file system FAT 16, cluster size 2 kB), there is a maximum file size of 2 kB.With an assumed data quantity of 205 bytes, the transfer time before the end of the sequence is 0.17seconds on average.Unused storage space in the mass storage is monitored, so that the danger of overflow can be quicklyrecognized. An acknowledgeable error message (error 2023, warning level mass storage, error class 3)is generated to warn that mass storage is 80% full. However, an unacknowledgeable error message (errorclass 4, error 2024, mass storage is full) is generated if mass storage is 90% full 1) .When the Compact System is booted (restart or power on), a check is run to see if the data in the CF350storage module is consistent. If this is not the case (e.g. because the Compact System was switched offduring writing to the storage module), the storage module is checked (similar to the MS-DOS Chkdskprogram); the transfer of the data that has not yet been saved on the partner controller is triggered andthe stored files finally deleted.Data quantity limitEach single-channel tightening results in a file that has to be transferred.Data output before sequence end (synchronous): Up to 50 results files can be written to the massstorage per minute. Up to 100 results files per minute can be transferred from mass storage via FTP.1) An overview of the error messages that may appear in conjunction with the Ethernet connection ortightening results data output via FTP can be found in chapter 7.2.8.System 350 | 3 608 878 040/05.2008
