Click on Data → Backup ...The Data/Backup dialog will appear (Fig. 10–74).Figure 10–74: Data/Backup dialog2. In the Save to: field, the directory is indicated where the backup should be stored. Your BS350 directoryis set as default.Select Change directory if you wish to save the backup in a directory other than the BS350 directory.3. Activate Incl. firmware if the firmware should also be included in the backup.4. In the Card rack field, select the channels for which you wish to create a backup.Those channels available for a backup are displayed in white, unavailable channels are displayed ingray.– Select Select all if you wish to create a backup of all available channels.– Select Deselect all if you wish to deselect all selected channels.5. Click on Backup to start the backup function.10.5.2.2 Restore from a core imageWith the Restore function, a backup file is transferred back to the controller and stored there.To restore a core image:1. Your BS350 directory is set asdefault. If you have stored your backup files in a directory other than the BS350 backup directory youcan select it with Change directory.The detected backups are automatically listed in the Backup files field.3. If several backups exist, one of them must be selected.If you have selected a backup file, the respective parameters are displayed in the File informationfield and the respective channel is activated in the Card rack field.4. Under Card rack enter the channels for the core image restore.Those channels available for a restore are displayed in white, unavailable channels are displayed ingray.5.
