210/316 Bosch Rexroth AG | Tightening Technology 9 Tightening Processes9.2 Tightening program stepsErgoStopAuto – Target function Torque:If ErgoStopAuto is activated, the speed in the last tightening step will be automatically controlleddepending on the tightening case hardness determined during the tightening and the target value(torque). There is no parameterization option here.– Target function Angle:The speed in the last tightening step is automatically controlled using the defined target angle. Thereare 5 stages that can be selected by the user to individually vary the duration of the end tighteningphase.9.2.1.9 Results output suppression (does not apply during application operation)If this function is activated, all result outputs from this tightening program to other systems will be suppressed,i.e. there is no results output to the data interfaces. The actual value and graph displays are, however, ensured in the BS350.This function only works in single-channel operation, i.e. with a tightening start via the Ch x.y Cw/Ch x.y Ccw signals. It does not work in application operation. The symbol signalizes that results output suppression is activated. It only appears after the data hasbeen taken over in the tightening program.9.2.1.10 Graph parametersResolutionThis entry determines the graph resolution in angular degrees. The drop-down list permits 8 different values. The smallest value (0.25°) results in the highest resolution and the largest value (50°) in the lowestresolution. 1° is set as the standard value. The resolution selected here applies to the entire tightening program. However, each tightening step canbe set individually, if necessary (see (page 210) and (page 214)), e.g. to display less interesting graphsections with a lower resolution.Measuring points This entry stipulates the number of measuring points for creating graphs. The drop-down list permits 6different values (100 - 2000).NoteResolution and number of measuring points must be properly adjusted for each tightening process. Thetime between the end of the tightening and CyCmp for data transmission to the BS350 can be shortenedif fewer measuring points are transferred. Therefore, set the storage depth only as high as necessary!NoteThe graph resolution not only influences the graph display but also recording and saving of the graph inthe tightening controller. The monitoring functions “Tightening, upper” and “Tightening, lower” are basedon the graph saved in the tightening controller. Thus, this setting also influences the quality of the “Tighteningmonitoring” function (see page 224).9.2.1.11 Accept valuesThe data is taken over in the tightening program by selecting the Accept button. Data only becomes effectiveafter it has been sent to the controller!9.2.2 Standard tightening stepThe standard tightening step fulfils the common requirements for a tightening step through a selection oftarget, additional, and monitoring functions.A new tightening step is inserted in the tightening program by clicking on the symbol on the left. Doubleclicking on the tightening step opens the corresponding dialog for entering the parameters (Fig. 9–8).System 350 | 3 608 878 040/05.2008
