10 Working with the System Tightening Technology | Bosch Rexroth AG 297/31610.4 Results storage and statisticsIn order to save storage space, limits are provided for the storage of program names, tightening positionsand ID codes which can be called up with a dialog. For example a maximum of 64 characters areallowed for the ID code. The length of the character string to be saved can be freely selected by enteringthe beginning and end. Setting storage to between 1 to 8 characters means i.e. that the string of charactersis limited to 8 characters (Fig. 10–59).Figure 10–59: Character selection with the example of an ID code: 16 charactersNoteThe more characters are stored, the less results can be stored in total!Program selection⇒ Select the tightening programs here for which tightening results should be stored in the tighteningcontroller (Fig. 10–58 on page 296).Select all activates all tightening programs. Deselect all deselects all previously activated programs.NoteIf all programs are deselected and this configuration is sent, the results storage will be turned off!Storage characteristicsSend or save configurationRing memorySelecting this checkbox (Fig. 10–58 on page 296) activates the use of a ring memory in which the oldestresults are overwritten by the most recent when the maximum storage capacity has been reached. If thering memory is deactivated the results storage stops after the maximum number of tightenings for whichresults were stored.Memory sizeThis field shows the maximum number of tightenings for which results can be saved. The memory size isdependent upon the number of output results (values per tightening) and the limits on program names, tightening positions and ID codes. To send the configuration to the tightening controller:⇒ Click on Data → Send to transfer the configuration to the results storage on the tightening controller. The settings for each channel are only valid after the configuration of the results storage has beensent!WARNING!Loss of dataWhen a new configuration is sent all previously stored data in the results storage in these channelsare deleted.⇒ Save the data in the results storage of the tightening controller before sending a new configuration.System 350 | 3 608 878 040/05.2008
