5 Construction Guidelines Tightening Technology | Bosch Rexroth AG 45/3165.3 Integration of the tightening system in an installationThe LC display shows:– OK/NOK evaluations– Numerical values of the tightening results– Display of errors5.3 Integration of the tightening system in an installation5.3.1 Ambient conditionsThe ambient conditions required for troublefree operation are found in the technical data of the “CS351”operating instructions, 3 609 929 B45.The system components comply with the following protection types:– Compact System: IP 54– ErgoSpin: IP 405.3.1.1 Constructive measures for maintaining the ambient conditionsATTENTION!Penetration of water and high humidityIf water or condensation penetrate, this may damage the CS351 Compact System.⇒ Penetration of water in the CS351 Compact System must be avoided at all costs.⇒ At higher humidities (>70%), constructive measures must be taken to prevent condensation.Switch cabinets with heaters are appropriate for this. A control with thermostats and hygrostatsis recommended.Ambient temperatureThe listed permissible ambient temperatures apply to installation heights up to 1000 m above MSL. Atgreater heights, the air pressure is lower, as well as the thermal conductivity, which results in a decreasein heat dissipation for the heat sinks. The required ambient temperature and maximum useable power for higher installation heights can be approximatedin the following diagram:100 %90 %K80 %70 %60 %50 %0 m1000 m 2000 m 3000 m 4000 mHFigure 5–3:Correction factor K of the maximum available power in dependence on the installation height H (above MSL)NoteThe ambient temperature may be lowered to counteract the reduction of the maximum available power athigh installation heights.5.3.1.2 Tightening System 350 temperature monitoring limitsThe temperature limit values (max. 45 °C) listed in the “CS351” operating instructions 3 609 929 B45apply when using the Compact System.System 350 | 3 608 878 040/05.2008
