This field is identified as an active field bya thicker frame. The value in the field is taken over in the key pad display (Fig. 10–22).10.2.4.2 Element functionsEntry keysEnter key (3)Backspace key (4)Delete key (5)Title line (6)The key pad consists of 12 entry keys. Values can be entered using the number keys, the preceding signkey (1), and the decimal point key (2). A maximum of five digits in front of the decimal point and three digitsafter the decimal point are possible.Pressing the enter key will transfer the current value in the display to the active editing field and close thekey pad.The backspace key deletes the last digit in the display.The delete key deletes the entire value in the key pad.The values to be entered for the parameters are described here.10.2.4.3 Closing the key padAfter you have entered the value, the key pad is closed by pressing the enter key and the value is takenover. Parameter entry is aborted and the key pad closed if you touch any area outside of the key pad.10.2.4.4 Entering the PINWhen logging on with the log on/off button (see page 268), you will be asked to enter a PIN with the keypad. The entered numbers are depicted as “*”. The entry is ended with the enter button (3) (Fig. 10–22).An error message will be displayed if the PIN was incorrect.Another attempt can be started with the log on/off button. If another user is already logged on, a displaywill appear that you have to confirm with OK.On delivery, the default setting of the PIN is 0000.
