250/316 Bosch Rexroth AG | Tightening Technology 10 Working with the System10.1 Settings in the BS35010.1.4 User administrationThe user administration is comprised of the following components:– Location names for each tightening cell– Administration levels for the definition of location names– List of the authorized users with passwords– Location access authorizations for the users– Log book of the logged-on users10.1.4.1 User administration conceptName and password of the superuser (factory setting: name: Bosch, password: Robert) are stored inthe controller. The list of the other authorized users and their passwords, as well as access authorizations, are stored inthe BS350 operating system. It is thus e.g. possible to log on to any tightening cell with a laptop, after aconnection has been established. In order to limit any (possibly undesired) “free” access, each tightening cell can be assigned a clear locationname. This is stored in the controller.By assigning so-called location access authorizations for users, it is possible to stipulate who has accessto tightening cells with specified location names.10.1.4.2 Location names/administration levelsEach tightening cell can be clearly identified with a location name. To do this, the tightening cell is assigneda classified address in up to seven administration levels. This information is also used for user accessauthorizations. The administration levels can be freely defined. It makes sense to e.g. indicate the location name andtightening cell name. The names of the administration levels (max. 8 characters) are stored in the BS350.To specify the administration levels:⇒ In the BS350 operating system, click on Administration → Administration levels.A dialog will appear to enter the administration levels.ExampleSpecifications for use of the administration levels could look as follows:AdministrationlevelDesignation1 Country2 Location3 Plant4 Area5 Department6 Group7 StationTo specify the location name of the tightening cell:⇒ In the BS350 operating system, click on Administration → Location names.A dialog will appear to enter the location name. The location name is input via an entry screen. It is not necessary to enter all seven administration levels. However, to avoid unintentional access, entry from left to right is recommended. The entries may consistof up to 8 characters from the ASCII 32 to 127 range; other characters will not be accepted.System 350 | 3 608 878 040/05.2008
