184/316 Bosch Rexroth AG | Tightening Technology 8 Basic Commissioning8.5 Operating the Compact SystemAdditionalfunctionalitySpindle limitsThe additional function Hand-held nutrunner lets you turn on the hand-held nutrunner function in a spindleconfiguration in which no hand-held nutrunner was inserted.In this operating mode, recognition of play on the start switch by the worker is active (see page 199).The threshold from which an evaluation is performed corresponds to the entry in the field Play on startswitch, evaluation from in the start step. The basic setting for this value is 5% of the spindle's nominaltorque.Tightening programs 0, 1, 2, 3, and 99 are automatically transferred from the ErgoSpin hand-held nutrunnerto the tightening controller with the additional function Use tightening programs from hand-heldnutrunner (program 99 and 0 to 3). Attention: The corresponding programs on the tightening controllerare overwritten by the BS350 or TFT display after the error message has been acknowledged (error code382).The displayed parameters for Spindle overload and Per. speed are calculated on the basis of the spindledata and used to check the plausibility of the tightening program. These values may not be exceededwhen assigning parameters to a tightening program! Settings at this point are not possible.8.5.2.4 Setting up installed interfacesRS232 interface X3C1This serial interface is intended to connect a printer or scanner.The associated parameter dialog is opened by double clicking on the parameter field in line X3C1 (seeFigure 8–5).Figure 8–8:Parameter dialog X3C1You can make the following settings in the Set up serial interface field:– Baud rate (300, 1200, 2400, 4800, 7200, 9600, 19200, 38400, 57600, 115200)– Data bits (7, 8)– Parity (none, odd, even)– Stop bits (0, 1, 2) and– Protocol (none, X-On/X-Off, RTS/CTS).⇒ Click on Accept to store this data in the program.Ethernet interface X7E1The installed Ethernet interface is used for tightening results output and programming the tightening controller.The associated parameter dialog is opened by double clicking on the parameter field in line X7E1 (seeFigure 8–5).System 350 | 3 608 878 040/05.2008

A tightening system is controlledby this interface.
