80/316 Bosch Rexroth AG | Tightening Technology 7 Data Services7.1 Overview of the tightening results communicationCycle counterIf the internal cycle counter is used as the ID code source, result identification takes place by means ofconsecutive numbers.ExampleConsecutive number of the tightening cycle: 30564 (cycle counter in tightening controller)ID code in the results protocol: L 000000030564The “L” at the beginning represents a consecutive number.Additional optionsYou can also define additional options, depending on the ID code source:Delete ID code after startIf this checkbox is selected, the ID code will be deleted after it has been used.NoteThe ID code is also deleted if the partner controller sets the signal Ch x.y ResRs after the end of the sequence.Extend ID code with sequence numberAn ID code is normally used only once, since just one tightening operation is performed on the same component. An exception of this are e.g. applications with hand-held tightening systems. In these systems, the same component is tightened several times. In this case, the component’s ID code does not change. In order to ensure that the results of the individual tightening cycles are clearly identified, the BS350 hasan option to use the existing ID code several times and to extend the ID code with a sequence numberthat is added to the ID code. This is 001 the first time the ID code is used and is increased by one numberevery time the same ID code is used, until it reaches the number 999. Whenever a new ID code is transferredto the tightening system, the sequence number starts again at 001.You can only select the Extend ID code with sequence number checkbox if the Delete ID code afterstart function is deactivated. The following conditions must be fulfilled to ensure that the tightening system uses the sequence number:– The ID code does not change or is not resent to the controller.– The ID code is not longer than 60 characters.ExampleThe ID code for single-channel tightenings is transferred as = ID_867954 Identification in the results outputwhen the ID code is used for the first time = ID_867954_001If more than 999 tightening processes are performed using the same ID code, the sequence number willstart again at 001.7.1.3.2 ID codes usedThe subsequent tightening cycle can use the following possibilities for the ID code:– A new ID code was transferred from an external source.– The “old” ID code is used again:– with a sequence number or– without a sequence number, i.e. the new result will overwrite the old one.– There is no valid ID code and the cycle counter is used instead.7.1.4 Quality codesThe quality code (QC) describes whether a tightening has been evaluated as OK or NOK. With an NOKevaluation, the cause will also be described.System 350 | 3 608 878 040/05.2008
