Result values are correctlyassigned by setting the data element/data word assignment to correspond with the partner controller.Both settings must be the same.Figure 7–34:Assignment of tightening results to data elements/data wordsTo create a new assignment:1. Select the tightening channel whose results you want to output.Only one tightening channel (Ch 0.1) is available in the CS351 Compact <strong>System</strong>.2. Set the start address for this result with a data element number, data word number (e.g. DE no. 0,DW no. 0)3. Click on Insert to add this assignment to the list.To correct an entry in the list:1. Select the entry in the list.The values will be shown in the fields above the list and can be edited there.2. Click on Change to accept the change in the list.To delete an entry:⇒ Select the entry in the list and click on Delete.All settings made here are immediately checked for plausibility.7.3.4.5 ID code transferThis area shows the fixed assignment of the ID codes to the data elements (see page 85).7.3.4.6 Accepting the settingsThe CS351 compact unit's data is displayed when you open the PLC 3964R - PLC1 or PLC 3964R -PLC2 window. The operating system computer with BS<strong>350</strong> and the Compact <strong>System</strong> must be connectedto do this (either by USB or Ethernet).The user must be logged in to the tightening system to change any settings. The new settings are storedin the Compact <strong>System</strong> with the OK button. Click on Cancel to close this window without changing thesettings.7.3.4.7 Displaying results in data elementsThe results are output without any additional comments, i.e. this output does not contain any informationon the numbers. It is possible to assign result values and parameters (e.g. angle, torque, redundancytorque, set value) by their position in the data element. This allows for an extremely compact results output.Results value accuracyThe measured results and limits for torque, angle and gradient are generated as floating decimal pointnumbers with various number positions. The number of the “digits before and after the decimal point” areas follows in the internal display:<strong>System</strong> <strong>350</strong> | 3 608 878 040/05.2008
