After the configuration has beensent, errors (e.g. configuration conflicts) will be displayed in the configuration window.The advantage of online configuration is that the configuration and parameter assignment of componentswith an electronic nameplate are automatically recognized.NoteConfiguration of a tightening channel with ErgoSpin SlimLine and ErgoSpin GripLine is done automatically.You do not have to supplement the configuration. Further information on the automatic configurationof an ErgoSpin tightening channel can be found in section 8.6.1, “Configuring the tightening channel” onpage 195.8.5.2.1 Loading the tightening channel configurationThe PC and tightening channel must be connected before the online configuration can be loaded(page 174).To load the current configuration of the tightening channel:⇒ Click on System → Tightening channel configuration or .System components with an electronic nameplate are automatically recognized by the BS350 and listedwith the appropriate information, e.g.:– ErgoSpin– Interface modules– Part number– Firmware version– Battery monitoring– Monitoring of the Compact Flash cardTo check the configuration of the interfaces:1. Double click on the field .All the available interfaces are displayed. The X3C1 serial interface and Ethernet interface X7E1are permanently installed. All the interface fields are closed by double clicking on .Figure 8–5:View of the interfaces in the Compact System8.5.2.2 Completing the tightening channel configurationWARNING!Incorrect channel configurationAn incorrectly configured ErgoSpin VarioLine or pistolgrip nutrunner may result in faulty tightenings.⇒ When working with the ErgoSpin VarioLine or pistolgrip nutrunner, always check that the componentsstored on the hand-held nutrunner correspond to the actual equipped components and, ifnecessary, correct the configuration with the operating program.To delete a component:⇒ Click on the appropriate symbol in the configuration sequence and press the [Del] button to deletethe component.To add a component:⇒ Add a permitted component (displayed in black) (see page 189).A distinction is made between two cases:– If the new component is to be added to an empty field then select the empty symbol field inthe configuration sequence and add a permitted component (=displayed in black) from the componentselection into the configuration sequence.– If the new component is to be added between two components, select the symbol field in theconfiguration sequence before the place where a new component will be added and select thepermitted (=displayed in black) component from the component selection.Configuration with standard versionIf the tightening channel only contains mechanical components, e.g. an additional drive component onthe ErgoSpin VarioLine, they are inserted in the configuration sequence, but not parameterized.
