264/316 Bosch Rexroth AG | Tightening Technology 10 Working with the System10.1 Settings in the BS35010.1.9 OK/NOK counter10.1.9.1 Setting up the counterThe counters for OK and NOK tightenings are used to assess a sequence of tightenings. Each tighteningis counted according to its evaluation. If a counter reaches its stipulated maximum value, a control signalis output (Ch x CntOK or Ch x.y CntNOK) and, if desired, the tightening channel blocked. To set up the counter:⇒ In the BS350, click on System → OK/NOK counter configuration. The OK/NOK counter configuration window will open.Figure 10–13: Configuration of the OK/NOK counterA total of 48 OK/NOK counters can be configured. A maximum value for OK tightenings and a maximumvalue for NOK tightenings are defined for each counter. A maximum of 999 tightenings can be counted.Set how the counters should be selected in the PLC signal selection field:– Prog0 … Prog5: The counters are selected using the control signals used to select the tighteningprogram. Thus, a counter with the same number is assigned to each tightening program, i.e. the sequenceconsists of tightenings with the same tightening program.– CntSel0 … CntSel5:The counters are selected using these control signals. This selection is doneindependently of the tightening program by e.g. the partner controller. Thus, different tightening programscan be used within the sequence.Set whether the counter should count upwards or downwards in the Counting direction field. The appropriate control signal is output (Ch x CntOK or Ch x.y CntNOK) when the maximum numberof the current counter is reached. In addition, you can set whether or not the tightening channel shouldbe blocked once the maximum number is reached in the Procedure if number of OK/NOK reached orfor abort field. Loosening program no. 99 can additionally be enabled if “Block nutrunner” is selected.NoteThis setting also applies when changing to another counter (changing the control signals Prog0 … Prog5or CntSel0 … CntSel5). If a counter is active (the counter is configured and has counted at least onetightening), but none of the maximum values for OK or NOK tightenings have been reached, the controlsignal Ch x.y NOK will always be output and, if necessary, the tightening channel blocked if you changeto another counter.System 350 | 3 608 878 040/05.2008
