7 Data Services <strong>Tightening</strong> Technology | Bosch <strong>Rexroth</strong> AG 159/3167.5 Printer communicationNoteThe data necessary for configuration are determined via the receiving device's interface. Both interfacesmust have the same settings.– Baud rate: Data rate in baud. Data transfer rates of 300 to 19200 baud are available.If the receiving device permits, select 9600 baud under normal conditions.– Data bits: Word length.If the receiving device permits, select 8 bits.– Parity: Parity of the data packages.If the receiving device permits, select “No” parity.– Protocol: Handshake process for communication.If the receiving device permits, select “None”.– Stop bits: Number of stop bits.If the receiving device permits, select 1.⇒ After all the parameters have been set, click on Accept to assign the values.NoteCommunication between the control unit and receiving device can only function properly if both interfaceshave the same configuration. The settings suggested above correspond to default settings for the controlunit interface on delivery. Only deviate from these if the receiving unit demands other parameters.Sending the configuration to the tightening systemThe interface configuration is only valid after the settings have been sent to the tightening system.7.5.2 Formats of the results outputTo set the desired output format:1. In the BS<strong>350</strong> operating system, click on <strong>System</strong> → <strong>Tightening</strong> cell data.2.
