Using these signals, thePLC can determine whether the program selection was successful. A program number is only valid if theprogram acknowledgement corresponds to the selected program. The controller always uses the acknowledgedprogram number as the basis for a tightening.Rdy – Ready (Tightening Controller Ready)The controller only reacts to the input signals if the system indicates that it is ready for operation (“high”).The controller can only be started after this.Possible causes for Rdy =“low” are:– Tightening controller boot process is running– System error– Sequence test activated by BS350– Transducer test activated by BS350.NF – No Fault (No System Error)Indicates an error in the tightening system (NF = “low”). A tightening sequence will be cancelled or thecontroller will not be started.InCy – In Cycle (Start Active)The InCy signal reports the start of the tightening program to the PLC. When this signal changes from“low” to “high”, the CyCmp, OK, and NOK signals are set to “low”. After the end of the tightening program, the InCy signal only changes from “high” to “low” if the start of the Cw or Ccw tightening programhas been cancelled. The tightening channel is ready to start again if the InCy signal is at “low”.InCyCcw – In Cycle Counterclockwise (Start Active)The InCyCcw signal is similar to the InCy signal. It is added to InCy for a Ccw start.CyCmp – Cycle Complete (Sequence End, Output)CyCmp = “high” signals the end of a tightening (sequence and results processing). The tightening channelis ready for the next tightening.System 350 | 3 608 878 040/05.2008
