26/316 Bosch <strong>Rexroth</strong> AG | <strong>Tightening</strong> Technology 4 Safety Instructions for <strong>Rexroth</strong> <strong>Tightening</strong> <strong>System</strong>s4.2 Description of Safety Instructions and Warning Symbols4.1.4 Cleaning InstructionsIn case of an emergency, fault or any other anomalies, switch the system off and protect it against beingswitched on again.The power supply for operation of the <strong>Rexroth</strong> tightening technology control and power electronics mustbe connected to earth. Operation on a power supply without connection to earth (IT network) is not allowedas overloading of air and leaking paths is possible. A possible protection type according to EN50148 is protection earthing. The supply leads of control and power electronics must have a protectiveearthing conductor (PE).Provide for potential equalization between workpiece and nutrunner and its carrier plate to ensure potentialequalization of all system components.The customer must provide a short-circuit protection of the connection leads in order to protect the system.Cover all openings of the <strong>Rexroth</strong> tightening system components with the appropriate protective equipmentin order to prevent detergents from penetrating the system.Never use solvents or aggressive detergents.Do not use a high-pressure cleaner for cleaning.NoteCleaning instructions in the corresponding operation manuals of the relevant system components mustalso be observed.4.1.5 Maintenance and Repair Instructions4.1.6 Disposal InstructionsPerform the prescribed maintenance work at the intervals specified in the corresponding instruction manualof the relevant system component.Make sure that no lines, connectors or components are disconnected as long as the system is under pressureand voltage. Protect the system against being switched on.Dispose of <strong>Rexroth</strong> products in accordance with the current applicable regulations in your country.4.2 Description of Safety Instructions and Warning SymbolsIn this system documentation, there are safety instructions before the steps whenever there is a dangerof personal injury or damage to the equipment.
