308/316 Bosch <strong>Rexroth</strong> AG | <strong>Tightening</strong> Technology 10 Working with the <strong>System</strong>10.5 Data backup10.5 Data backupVarious software and configuration files are necessary for correct function of the <strong>Tightening</strong> <strong>System</strong> <strong>350</strong>.They are stored in the tightening cell. Some of this software, such as e.g. the firmware for a controller, areprovided by <strong>Rexroth</strong> and can be requested again, if necessary. Other software, such as the tighteningprograms or the PLC tables, are individually generated and must be saved by the system operator.You can either save the data as single files or as a complete core image.10.5.1 Saving the entire tightening cell as single files10.5.1.1 Saving in single filesIn the BS<strong>350</strong> operating system, software, such as the tightening programs or the PLC tables, can be individuallygenerated and then transferred to the controller. It is also possible to save and open this dataon an external data medium. An individual tightening program is accessed, if necessary.By saving the tightening cell in the BS<strong>350</strong>, it is possible to separately store individually generated softwarefrom the entire tightening cell. When restored, the operating system can be used to open, edit, andthen send individual files to the controller, in the same manner as when generating the software.To save the contents of a tightening cell in single files:1. Click on File → Save tightening cellThe Save tightening cell dialog will appear (Fig. 10–72).Figure 10–72: Save tightening cell dialog2. Enter the directory path where the single files should be stored.3. Select which data should be stored.4. Click on Save to start the saving process.The saved data is stored in the selected directory in a folder with the identification Ch x.y channelname.
