4 Click OK.<br />

5 Repeat the process for any component type that you want to modify.<br />

You may want to open other Design Bar tabs and make modifications to components not<br />

available on this tab. You can also load families and groups from the File menu.<br />

6 Click File menu ➤ Load from Library.<br />

Notice that you have the option to Load Family or Load Group. Loading from the library is<br />

quickest when you know exactly what families you want to load. Press ESC twice to return to<br />

the template.<br />

Use Project Browser to modify families<br />

7 In the Project Browser, expand Families.<br />

Notice that each family category is listed. You can use the Project Browser to modify family<br />

types.<br />

8 Expand Annotation Symbols.<br />

Notice that there is a titleblock symbol loaded. (The titleblock name may vary depending on<br />

the template you started with.)<br />

9 Expand the titleblock, and select the titleblock type.<br />

10 In the Type Properties dialog, click Preview.<br />

This titleblock is currently part of the template. Notice it has Revit in the upper-right corner.<br />

You may want to load a titleblock applicable to your office and then delete this titleblock.<br />

11 To load a titleblock, click Load.<br />

12 Click OK.<br />

You can use the Project Browser to delete a component from the project/template. To do so,<br />

right-click the component, and click Delete.<br />

13 Using any of the techniques learned in previous steps, load, create, or modify any component<br />

families or groups as necessary.<br />

14 Proceed to the next exercise, Modifying Views and View Templates on page 105.<br />
