NOTE If the visibility of loads is tuned off in the view, applying either the stick or normal analytical<br />

view template to the view will cause loads to be displayed.<br />

Verify analytical settings<br />

1 Click Settings menu ➤ Structural Settings.<br />

2 In the Structural Settings dialog, select the Analytical Model Settings tab.<br />

This tutorial will run both the Member Supports Check and Analytical/Physical Model<br />

Consistency Check for all elements selected from the Settings menu ➤ Structural Settings dialog,<br />

under the Analytical Model Settings tab.<br />

Check member supports<br />

3 Click Tools menu ➤ Analytical Model ➤ Check Member Supports.<br />

Revit Structure checks for instances where a structural element (column) is missing a foundation<br />

support (slab, wall, or isolated). A Warning dialog appears notifying you that there are structural<br />

elements that may not be supported properly.<br />

4 In the Warning dialog click , to view each warning.<br />

Notice that the structural element is highlighted on the model as each warning is selected.<br />

5 Close the Warning dialog.<br />

Review support warnings<br />

6 Click Tools menu ➤ Review Warnings.<br />
