In general, revision descriptions should be comprehensive, yet as concise as possible.<br />

15 Verify that Issued is cleared.<br />

When Issued is selected, the revision is locked and issued to the field.<br />

16 Verify that Visible is selected.<br />

If Visible is not selected, any revision cloud you draw to indicate this particular revision is not<br />

visible in the view in which you create it. In most instances, you would turn off visibility only<br />

after a revision was issued.<br />

17 In the Project Browser, under Sheets (all), double-click S.2 - Stair Shafts Sections.<br />

18 Right-click the center view on the sheet, and select Activate View.<br />

The Activate View command activates a viewport on the sheet, allowing you to edit the model<br />

directly from the sheet.<br />

19 On the Drafting tab of the Design Bar, click Revision Cloud.<br />

Revit Structure is now in sketch mode.<br />

20 In the drawing area, click above the brace, and move the cursor clockwise to create a segment<br />

of the revision cloud.<br />

21 Click to end that segment and begin a new segment.<br />

22 Continue adding segments until the cloud encompasses the area that you changed.
