6 Click the beam, and on the Option Bar, click .<br />

NOTE The properties for all beams of the same type should be changed. For demo purposes, a single<br />

beam is selected<br />

7 In the Element Properties dialog, under Analytical Model, for Vertical Projection, select<br />

Auto-detect, and then click OK.<br />

The vertical projection plane of the analytical model automatically moves to the top of the slab.<br />

8 Click the slab, and on the Option Bar, click .<br />

9 In the Element Properties dialog, under Analytical Model, for Vertical Projection, select Top of<br />

Slab, and then click OK.<br />
