The dot located at the top of the beam, represents the vertical projection plane of the beam
analytical model.
6 Click the beam, and on the Option Bar, click .
NOTE The properties for all beams of the same type should be changed. For demo purposes, a single
beam is selected
7 In the Element Properties dialog, under Analytical Model, for Vertical Projection, select
Auto-detect, and then click OK.
The vertical projection plane of the analytical model automatically moves to the top of the slab.
8 Click the slab, and on the Option Bar, click .
9 In the Element Properties dialog, under Analytical Model, for Vertical Projection, select Top of
Slab, and then click OK.
