7 Drag the wall towards the left edge of the sketch, and click to place the endpoint of the wall.<br />

8 On the Design Bar, click Modify.<br />

9 Select the wall, and press the SPACEBAR to position the wall within the sketch outline.<br />

Create a new wall type<br />

10 On the Options Bar, click .<br />

11 In the Element Properties dialog, click Edit/New.<br />

12 In the Type Properties dialog, click Rename.<br />

13 In the Rename dialog, enter Generic - 400 mm, and click OK.<br />

14 In the Type Properties dialog, under Construction, for Structure, click Edit.<br />

15 In the Edit Assembly dialog, for Layer 2, enter 400 mm for Thickness, and click OK.<br />

16 In the Type Properties dialog, click Apply and then OK.<br />

17 In the Element Properties dialog, click OK.<br />

Notice that the structural wall changes to the new type.<br />

18 Using the new wall type, place a structural wall on the opposite side of the elevator shaft.
