30 On the Modelling tab of the Design Bar, click Loads.<br />

31 On the Options Bar, click (Line Load).<br />

TIP Be sure to click the Line Load option. Use the Tooltips to be sure you click the correct option.<br />

32 On Level 2, select the edge of the flange as the starting point for the load.<br />

33 Drawing the load from one corner of the flange to the other, as shown.<br />

You will see the load is oriented to project orientation.<br />

34 Select the load, and on the Options Bar, click .<br />

35 In the Element Properties dialog, under Structural Analysis, select Workplane for Orient to, and<br />

click OK.<br />

The load projection plane is now oriented to the workplane of the temporary grid line plane to<br />

which the framing elevation was pointing.<br />
