34 On the Options Bar, click . .<br />

35 In the Element Properties dialog, click Edit/New.<br />

36 In the Type Properties dialog, do the following:<br />

■ Under Graphics, for Dimension String Type, select Baseline.<br />

■ Click Apply, and OK.<br />

37 In the Element Properties dialog, click OK.<br />

38 Select the reference line for grid 1 to start the dimension string as shown.<br />

39 Select the reference line for grids 2 and 3 as shown.<br />

Notice the multiple dimensions display the distance from the same baseline (grid 1).<br />

40 Select the reference lines for grids 4 and 5 to place the remaining dimensions as shown.<br />

41 On the Design Bar, click Modify.<br />

Create an ordinate dimension<br />

42 Select the baseline dimensions placed in the previous steps.<br />

43 On the Options Bar, click . .<br />

44 In the Element Properties dialog, click Edit/New.<br />

45 In the Type Properties dialog, do the following:<br />

■ Under Graphics, for Dimension String Type, select Ordinate.<br />

■ Click Apply, and OK.<br />
