Add a line boundary condition to the footing<br />

16 Enter ZF.<br />

17 Click or drag the ViewCube to rotate the view until the foundation wall is displayed as shown.<br />

18 On the Toolbar, click , and draw a zoom box around the foundation.<br />

19 On the Modelling tab of the Design Bar, click Boundary Conditions.<br />

20 On the Options Bar, click (Line Boundary Condition), and for State, select Pinned.<br />

21 Click the green line (representing the analytical model of the foundation) to place the line<br />

boundary condition.<br />
