Training File<br />

■ Click File menu ➤ Open.<br />

■ In the left pane of the Open dialog box, click Training Files, and open <strong>Metric</strong>\m_RST_Drawings.rvt.<br />

Enter the project information to display in the title block of the drawing sheet<br />

Create a sheet<br />

1 Click Settings menu ➤ Project Information.<br />

2 In the Element Properties dialog box, click Edit for Project Address.<br />

3 In the Edit Text dialog box, enter the following address: 123 Main Street, Anytown, MA 12345.<br />

4 Click OK.<br />

5 Specify the remaining instance parameters:<br />

■ For Project Issue Date, enter 31 March 2006.<br />

■ For Project Status, enter Initial Draft.<br />

■ For Client Name, enter J. Smith.<br />

■ For Project Name, enter Office Structure.<br />

■ For Project Number, enter 2006-01.<br />

6 Click OK.<br />

7 On the View tab of the Design Bar, click Sheet.<br />

TIP If the View tab is not displayed in the Design Bar, right-click, and click View.<br />

8 In the Select a Title block dialog box, select A1 metric, and click OK.<br />

A title block and drawing borders are displayed on the drawing sheet.<br />

The title block that you selected is a family that has already been loaded into the project. The<br />

text fields in the title block family (shown below) contain labels that automatically display the<br />

corresponding project information that you entered.
