Set rebar spacing<br />

8 Click in the Rebar Shape Browser, scroll down the list of available shapes, and select Rebar Shape:<br />

9 Click the top edge of the view to place the rebar.<br />

10 On the Design Bar, click Modify.<br />

11 Select the rebar shapes that you placed in the previous steps, and on the Options Bar, do the<br />

following:<br />

■ For Layout, select Maximum Spacing.<br />

■ For Spacing, enter 100.0.<br />

Place rebar perpendicular to the beam face<br />

12 On the Modelling tab of the Design Bar, click Rebar ➤ Place Rebar Perpendicular.<br />

13 Click in the Rebar Shape Browser, scroll down the list of available shapes, and select Rebar Shape:<br />

14 Place 2 rebar in the detail view, approximately as shown.<br />

15 On the Design Bar, click Modify.<br />

16 On the Modelling tab of the Design Bar, click Rebar ➤ Place Rebar Perpendicular.<br />

17 Click in the Rebar Shape Browser, scroll down the list of available shapes, and select Rebar Shape:<br />
