Adding Grid Lines to the Imported Drawing<br />

In this exercise, the imported drawing is a halftone, which you use as a background drawing for placing<br />

columns.<br />

Training File<br />

■ Click File menu ➤ Open.<br />

■ In the left pane of the Open dialog, click Training Files, and open <strong>Metric</strong>\m_RST_CSM_Grids.rvt.<br />

1 On the View toolbar, click , and draw a zoom box around the upper-left corner of the<br />

structural model.<br />

2 On the Drafting tab of the Design Bar, click Grid.<br />

3 On the Options Bar, click .<br />

4 Select the left vertical grid line.<br />

Notice the grid line is highlighted with a blue value within the grid head.<br />

5 Click the value in the grid head, and enter A.<br />
