Scheduling Beam Quantities<br />

In this lesson, you learn how to create a beam schedule for the structural model as shown below. When you<br />

schedule structural components in Revit Structure, you can list each component as a separate line item (an<br />

instance schedule), or you can group components of the same type into a single line item (a type schedule).<br />

Creating a Structural Framing Schedule<br />

In this exercise, you learn how to create a structural framing concrete beam schedule.<br />

Training File<br />

■ Click File menu ➤ Open.<br />

■ In the left pane of the Open dialog, click Training Files, and open <strong>Metric</strong>\m_RST_Schedules_Framing.rvt.<br />

Create the schedule<br />

1 On the View tab of the Design Bar, click Schedule/Quantities.<br />

TIP If the View tab of the Design Bar is not active, right-click in the Design Bar, and click View.<br />

2 In the New Schedule dialog, under Category, select Structural Framing, and click OK.<br />

Choose which fields to include in the beam schedule<br />

3 In the Schedule Properties dialog, click the Fields tab.<br />

4 Under Available fields, select Mark, and click Add.<br />

The Mark field is moved under Scheduled fields.<br />
