33 In the Filter dialog, click Check None, select Structural Framing (Girder, Joist, and Other),<br />

Structural Beam Systems, and Floors, and then click OK.<br />

34 Click Edit menu ➤ Copy to Clipboard.<br />

close the exercise file without saving changes. The next exercise uses a new training file.<br />

Adding a Shape-Modified Slab<br />

In this new training file, beam systems have been added to the roof level to support a new shape-modified<br />

slab, and the footings added at the beginning of the tutorial have been deleted. In this exercise, you add a<br />

shape-modified slab to the new roof framing, and create a custom roof type with tapered insulation.<br />

In this exercise, you create a shape-modified slab above Level 7.<br />

Training File<br />

■ Click File menu ➤ Open.<br />

■ In the left pane of the Open dialog, click Training Files, and open <strong>Metric</strong>\m_RST_CSM_5.rvt.<br />
