6 Click to select all the walls.<br />

Next, sketch the chimney opening.<br />

7 On the Sketch tab of the Design Bar, click Lines.<br />

8 On the Options Bar, click (Rectangle).<br />

9 Using automatic snaps, sketch a rectangle from the upper left corner of the exterior chimney<br />

face to the lower right corner of the exterior chimney face.<br />

10 On the View menu, click Zoom ➤ Zoom To Fit to view the entire floor plan.<br />

Next, add new slope lines to the roof.<br />

11 On the Sketch tab of the Design Bar, click Modify.<br />

12 Select the uppermost horizontal line.<br />

13 On the Options Bar, select Defines Slope.<br />

14 Select one of the shorter line segments shown in the following illustration.<br />

15 On the Options bar, select Defines Slope.<br />

16 On the Sketch tab of the Design Bar, click Finish Roof.<br />

17 When you see the informational dialog, click Yes to attach the walls to the roof.
