8 On the Design Bar, click Modify.<br />

9 Select the north wall and move it upward.<br />

Notice that the south wall moves with the north wall, and the distance between them does not<br />

change because the dimension is constrained.<br />

10 On the Toolbar, click (Undo).<br />

11 Select the dimension, click the lock to unlock it, and press DELETE.<br />

Create a multi-segmented dimension<br />

12 On the Design Bar, click Dimension.<br />

13 On the Options Bar, select Wall centerlines for Prefer.<br />

14 Select the north and south walls of the North Building.<br />

15 On the Options Bar, select Wall faces for Prefer.<br />

16 Select the exterior faces of the top and bottom walls of the South Building.<br />

17 Move the cursor to the left of the South Building, and click to set the dimension location.<br />

An unlocked lock symbol displays next to each dimension segment. In addition, an equal symbol<br />

with a slash through it is displayed, indicating that the dimension segments are not equal in<br />

length.<br />

Create a radial dimension<br />

18 On the Design Bar, click Dimension.<br />

19 On the Options Bar, click (Create Radial Dimensions), and select Wall centerlines for Prefer.<br />

20 Dimension a curved wall of the North Building:<br />

■ Select the southwest corner wall to display the radial dimension.<br />

■ Move the cursor to the inside of the curved wall, and click to place the dimension.<br />
