Organize design option sets and subordinate options<br />

31 On the Tools menu, click Design Options ➤ Design Options.<br />

32 In the Design Options dialog, notice that you are still editing Option Set 1: Option 1 (primary).<br />

33 Click Finish Editing.<br />

34 In the Design Options dialog, under Option, click New.<br />

NOTE Be sure you are creating a new option, not a new option set.<br />

35 Select Option 1 (primary) and, under Option, click Rename.<br />

36 In the Rename dialog, enter Brackets for New, and click OK.<br />

37 Select Option 2 and, under Option, click Rename.<br />

38 In the Rename dialog, enter Beam for New, and click OK.<br />

39 Select Option Set 1 and, under Option Set, click Rename.<br />

40 In the Rename dialog, enter Structure for New, and click OK.<br />

Logically naming the option sets and relative options allows you to more easily manage them.<br />

41 Under Option Set, click New.<br />

42 Select Option Set 1 and, under Option Set, click Rename.<br />

43 In the Rename dialog, enter Roofing for New, and click OK.<br />

44 Select the option set Roofing and, under Option, click New.<br />

There should now be two roofing design options.<br />

45 Under Roofing, select Option 1 (primary).<br />

46 Under Option, click Rename, name the option Louvers, and click OK.<br />
