Create a new project<br />

59 Click File menu ➤ New ➤ Project.<br />

60 In the New Project dialog, click Browse.<br />

61 In the Choose Template dialog, in the <strong>Metric</strong> Templates folder, select Structural Analysis-Default<br />

<strong>Metric</strong>.rte, and click Open.<br />

62 In the New Project dialog, click OK.<br />

63 In the Project Browser, under Structural Plans, double-click Level 2.<br />

64 On the Design Bar, click Slab.<br />

You are now in sketch mode.<br />

65 On the Design Bar, click Lines.<br />

66 On the Options Bar, click (Rectangle).<br />

67 Draw a slab in the center of the drawing area.<br />

The slab size should be approximately 17000 mm long by 10600 mm wide.<br />

68 On the Design Bar, click Finish Sketch.<br />

The slab is created.<br />

Create a section view of the slab<br />

69 On the Design Bar, click Section.<br />

70 Click above the slab and draw a section line through the slab approximately as shown.<br />

71 In the Project Browser, under Sections (Building Sections), double-click Section 1.<br />
