Create a new project
59 Click File menu ➤ New ➤ Project.
60 In the New Project dialog, click Browse.
61 In the Choose Template dialog, in the Metric Templates folder, select Structural Analysis-Default
Metric.rte, and click Open.
62 In the New Project dialog, click OK.
63 In the Project Browser, under Structural Plans, double-click Level 2.
64 On the Design Bar, click Slab.
You are now in sketch mode.
65 On the Design Bar, click Lines.
66 On the Options Bar, click (Rectangle).
67 Draw a slab in the center of the drawing area.
The slab size should be approximately 17000 mm long by 10600 mm wide.
68 On the Design Bar, click Finish Sketch.
The slab is created.
Create a section view of the slab
69 On the Design Bar, click Section.
70 Click above the slab and draw a section line through the slab approximately as shown.
71 In the Project Browser, under Sections (Building Sections), double-click Section 1.
