To determine the number of digits, count the number<br />

of digits of the highest number RNPG group.<br />

PNI 1-32700 Private Network Identifier<br />

Each customer data block must have a unique PNI<br />

when multi-customer option is equipped. The PNI in the<br />

CDB functions as a logical customer number for routing<br />

in<strong>com</strong>ing non-call-associated Transaction Capability<br />

Application Part (TCAP) facility messages to the<br />

appropriate ESN translations.<br />

PNI = 1 is typical for customer 0. It must be matched by<br />

the PNI in the far end RDB. Default PNI = 0 prevents the<br />

operation of features such as NRAG, NACD and NMS.<br />

Within one network, use the same value for PNI in both<br />

LD 15 and LD 16. When inter-working with different<br />

networks, the LD 15 PNI is for the local system and the<br />

LD 16 PNI is for the target or remote switch.<br />

To remove a CDR port, change CDR = NO. Exit and<br />

re-enter LD 15, select CDR = YES, then add only the<br />

desired CDR port numbers. Precede with X to remove.<br />
