configured on System Core but cannot be modified.<br />

0-3 Option 11 DCHI/SDI Port number or Option 11C<br />

For Option 11C:<br />

1. Expansion cabinets only support one TTY port<br />

which is on the Fibre Receiver Pack. When<br />

CAB = 1 or 2, PORT is not prompted.<br />

2. The maximum number of pseudo TTY<br />

supported is 4.<br />

3. For TTY_TYPE = LSL, Card 0 Port 0 is not<br />

allowed.<br />

If D-channel is on PRI/PRI2 card, the valid Port<br />

number is 1. If D-channel is on NTAK02 card, Ports 1<br />

ISDN PRI architecture is <strong>com</strong>posed of three protocol<br />

layers providing different services:<br />

• layer 1: physical layer<br />

• layer 2: link layer<br />

• layer 3: network layer<br />

These layers provide a standard interface for voice<br />

and data <strong>com</strong>munication. Each layer uses the<br />

services provided by the layer below, and builds on<br />

these services to perform functions for the layer<br />

above. Each layer or block can be modified without<br />

affecting the protocols in another layer.<br />
