20.4.1.1 Copy Required Files
20.4 Description of the Processing Examples
Prior to starting any processing program, all necessary files must be made available for the
BPE in specific directories. This is accomplished by this first PCF section. Usually, all PCFs
begin with such a copy script to put the requested files from your local data source into
the campaign directories. You could also implement a download script, getting, e.g., IGS
products from an ftp server.
001 PPP_COP PPP_GEN ANY 1
PID 001 PPP COP: This script copies the needed files into the respective campaign directories.
If appropriate, some file names will be changed according to the BPE variable
V B (defining the prefix for a priori files), and/or a session specific date. The BPE will
stop with an error if one of the following files is missing:
File type Source directory Destination directory Renaming
RINEX observation files ORX RAW no
IGS precise orbit file ORB ORB yes
IGS pole file ORB ORB yes
IGS clock file ORB ORB yes
DCB files ORB ORB yes
20.4.1.2 Prepare Pole, Orbit, and Clock Information
This block converts the IGS pole information to Bernese format, generates the orbit information
in Bernese standard orbit format, and extracts the satellite clock information from
the IGS clock file. You always should use consistent orbit, satellite clock, and pole files to
obtain reasonable results for the PPP.
