20. Processing Examples
PID 101 GPSESTAP: This script prepares the parallel GPSEST run. All baselines associated
with the current session are processed individually.
PID 102 GPSEST P: Program GPSEST creates a residual file for each baseline. The coordinates
of the baseline’s first station are fixed on their a priori values. Troposphere
parameters for both stations and coordinates for the second station are estimated. The
residuals are not normalized as no screening is intended. GPSEST runs in baseline-wise
mode.
PID 103 GPSXTR: Extracts a short overview of the previous step. This file is included in
the processing summary (BASyyssss.PRC).
PID 111 RESRMS: Creates a summary of the residuals. No screening is done. This file is
included in the processing summary.
PID 112 RESCHK: Another summary is created, containing various satellite-specific information
such as the relative percentage of observations, the total number of observations,
and total RMS per satellite. This overview is included in the processing summary.
Misbehaving satellites are indicated by a large amount of deleted data and a
high rms value.
Residuals (page 144), Section 6.6.2: Generating Residual Statistic (page 132), Section
Processing (page 391).
20.4.3.3 Create Processing Summary File
In the last part of the PCF an analysis protocol is created.
901 BAS_SUM BAS_GEN ANY 1 103 112
PID 901 BAS SUM: This script creates a processing summary giving a comprehensive
overview of the most important results. It contains the summaries extracted in the
previous steps (PIDs 103, 111, 112).
Further Reading: Section 19.10: BPE Output and Protocol Files (page 415), Section 19.11:
Error Handling (page 417).
20.4.4 Zero-Difference Processing Example (CLKDET.PCF)
The CLKDET.PCF presents a processing scheme for the determination of station and satellite
clock corrections. These corrections are computed based on GPS data for a regional network
