21.4 Programming Standards and Conventions<br />

All programs and subrountines are written in Fortran 77 or 90. Fortran 90 is now the<br />

standard programming language for the <strong>Bernese</strong> <strong>GPS</strong> <strong>Software</strong> and all newly developed<br />

programs are written in Fortran 90. Those users who would like to make changes in the<br />

programs have to look at the following aspects:<br />

(1) maximum dimensions and<br />

(2) recompilation of particular programs.<br />
