22. Data Structure
(3) TYPE 003: HANDLING OF STATION PROBLEMS
RXOBV3 checks the entries and does not write a Bernese observation file for a station
specified in this type for the time interval processed. ADDNEQ2 pre-eliminates the
corresponding station coordinates before stacking within the specified time interval.
(4) TYPE 004: STATION COORDINATES AND VELOCITIES
This part of file allows you to constrain the estimates of the station coordinates and/or
station velocities of two stations relatively to each other. To get identical velocities for
two stations the a priori velocities must be identical. It is possible to constrain north,
east, and up components independently.
(5) TYPE 005: HANDLING STATION TYPES
In this section the “MARKER TYPE” of an antenna may be specified. This is mandatory
for spaceborne receivers. Programs check the marker type inorder to distinguish
ground and spaceborne receivers.
Remarks
• The file contains the basic station information used to check RINEX header information
with RXOBV3, to update header information in Bernese observation files with
CHGHED, and to check and adapt station information in ADDNEQ2. All information
is centralized in one single file.
• Table 22.5 lists the programs accessing the different sections of the station information
file. For details concerning the use of the file during data import with RXOBV3
see Section 4.2.3, for more information on how to use the file with ADDNEQ2 see
Section 9.4.6 and wrt PHCCNV see Section 16.3.
• Flags available in the file are currently not used.
• Empty epoch fields are considered as open time interval boundaries.
• For TYPE 002 and TYPE 004 values that should not be checked may be replaced by
unknown/undefined (see Table 22.6).
