23.2.5 Final Remarks
23.2.5.1 DE200-Ephemerides from JPL
The availability of the DE200-ephemerides is necessary to run the examples of Bernese GPS
Software, Version 5.0 .
If you are already user of Version 4.2 of the Bernese GPS Software you can copy the
file DE200.EPH from the old (Version 4.2 ) ${X}/GEN-directory to the new (Version 5.0 )
${X}/GEN-directory.
Otherwise you have to generate the ephemerides file. You can find the description how to
create this file in ${X}/DOC/DE200.README, as well as in the file README\jplDE200.txt on
your installation CD.
23.2.5.2 Campaign List
The campaign list MENU CMP.INP is a general file for all users of your version of the
Bernese GPS Software. It is located in the directory ${X}/PAN. In order to edit this file
(e.g., for adding a new campaign to the list) users need write permission to this directory.
As long as a user is editing this file via the Bernese menu, it is locked by a file
${X}/PAN/MENU CMP.INP lk.
