22.8 Station Related Files
Created by: User-defined or as output result of the processing programs CODSPP (”Menu
>Processing>Code-based clock synchronization”), or GPSEST (”Menu>Processing>Parameter
estimation”).
Used by: CODSPP, MAUPRP (”Menu>Processing>Phase preprocessing”), GPSEST, KINPRE,
and GPSSIM (”Menu>Service>Generate simulated observation data”).
Example: Figure 22.37 and ${X}/DOC/EXAMPLE.KIN.
Flags in the kinematic coordinate file:
K Epoch coordinate estimate is reliable. Only coordinates with this flag are introduced
as a priori coordinates, except if kinematic coordinates are estimated.
S Epoch coordinate estimated with “few” observations (input parameter in GPSEST,
“Minimum number of observations per epoch” in panel “GPSEST 6.5: Kinematic Coordinates”).
X Estimation of epoch coordinates was singular. Interpolated coordinates are given.
22.8.10 Kinematic Velocities
Type: ASCII
Directory: Campaign-specific directory STA.
Extension: VEL
Content: Velocities in kinematic file format. Only used for LEOs if no standard orbit
is available.
Created by: User-defined.
Used by: GPSEST (”Menu>Processing>Parameter estimation”), GPSSIM (”Menu>Service>Generate
simulated observation data”), MAUPRP (”Menu>Processing>Phase preprocessing”) if LEO
data is processed with kinematic trajectory as input.
Example: No example.
The file format is identical to the format of the kinematic coordinate file, except that the
units are dm/s such that the resolution of the values is 0.01 mm/s. The flags have the same
meaning as for the kinematic coordinate file (see Section 22.8.9).
The file is used, e.g., to define the local LEO orbit system (e.g., for the computation of the
satellite attitude) if only kinematic coordiantes are given and velocities cannot be obtained
from a standard orbit. Directory and extension are the same as for station velocity files.
22.8.11 Ocean Tidal Loading Table
Type: ASCII
Directory: Campaign-specific directory STA.
Extension: BLQ
Content: Ocean tidal loading amplitudes and phases.
Created by: User-defined.
